My part list http://pcpartpicker.com/list/T4cWD8

Hello! For the past couple of months my pc has been freezing randomly once every couple of days. It does not freeze to a blue screen, the image and audio of whatever I am doing at the time just freeze forcing me to hard reset. Also the audio makes a load buzzing noise if there was any audio playing before the freeze.

A couple of things I have done to troubleshoot: Ran a memtest86 that found zero errors after leaving it on overnight, switching out the video card with no change, reinstalling windows with no change, switching hard drives and reinstalling windows with no change.

Posted in the Memory forum but no dice so far. This issue has plagued me for several months and any help at all would immensely appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Solution
Try raising the DRAM voltage + 0.06 and let us know the actual model numbers may want to raise the MC voltage about the same which may be VTTDDR or VTTCPU (might also be the VCCSA since it's an Asus mobo

The DRAM I reused from a prebuilt HP I had lying around, 3 Hynix 1600 4gb sticks and 1 2 gb stick. I do have the latest BIOS versions from the manufacturers website.

Slight correction on the DRAM, two of the three 4 gig sticks are hynix shown here: https://dl2.pushbulletusercontent.com/FlYhQUdB3BlIyjRDsTCxCvNUG6lYok5O/IMG_20160728_005015.jpg

And one 4g and one 2g stick are Elpida brand sticks shown here:

Although all 4 came from the same prebuilt HP computer. I will attempt to raise the voltage as recommended but I have never really messed around in the bios settings other than updating it.

To clarify I'm raising the DRAM voltage from 1.5 to 1.56 volts and the VCCSA voltage from .925 to .985 volts?
