Hi guys I have just built my new gaming PC running an
Intel Core i7 6700k, Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1070 8gb video card (base clock), Asus Z170-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard, 16gb Corsair Vengence ddr4 2400 memory, Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500gb SSD, Western Digital 1tb hard drive, and a EVGA 650W Power Supply.
So what happened was I powered it on the first time and everything looked promising... The fans spun, the lights turned on, the power supply worked, literally every piece
Of hardware worked except for my peripherals. My keyboard wouldn't light up, my mouse would turn on, not even my monitor would display bios. It's the strangest thing. So I thought I would post on this awesome cite to see what u guys would say to help me.
Thx in advance for help. :)

Solution
It resets the bios of your motherboard. Your motherboard manual will explain how it needs to be done, for your particular board. Make sure the system is unplugged, when you do it.
