Hey guys, I need help. I´ve been a console gamer all my life but I got a gaming PC for about 2 months now and everything was great until about a week ago. I can run all games at 1440p maxed out above 60fps no problem but recently, games have been dipping in fps for about a second or so to 40fps, less or even 0 and then back to normal and not because the stuff being displayed is something the PC could not handle. I really don´t know much about this since Im new to PC gaming but I think it´s triggered by stuff loading, whenever I open a new menu in a game, I click on a character and a dialogue box comes out, a new character appears in a cutscene, a card in hearthstone is being played, it drops like this. And all of this in games that I played before without any drops. I just have no idea what changed. At first I thought it was just in blizzard games and blamed it on their optimization but then it happened in Doom which I beat twice before this with no issues like this. I could also be wrong and there might be no pattern...Please I really need help. Thank you :)

Ok...so I think I might have just fixed it. I´ve been trying to fix this issue for a week and a 15 minutes after i finally post a thread I find a solution. Amazing. (Or at least I THINK i fixed it, never too sure with tese things, I always think I fix something and then nope). I deleted open hardware monitor and everything is fine now from what I can tell. What a relief.
