PC Freezes then shut down.. Is this due to broken hard disk?

My pc is recently freezing then is shuts down, whenever my PC freezes the red light in front of my pc turns off.. does it means my hard drive is broken?

I'm going to guess it's power related. Failing PSU or motherboard, again, just guessing. Or maybe a short somewhere.

I agree with bliq.

A broken hard drive alone wouldn't cause your PC to shut down on it's own anyhow.

I have tried using another PSU but the problem still persist

have you checked your pc temperatures?That can be another reason for pc shutdown.
