My cousin wants to play DOTA 2, CS:GO, GTA V, NBA 2k16, Skyrim, The Sims and other nice games (maybe some AAA Titles) with no lag...

She has a budget of $500-$540 (20,000 to 27,000 pesos).. current total is 25,710.00

I chose GTX 750Ti because I am selling it to her and she's willing to buy it.

So is this build okay for this budget? And for some future games perhaps?

And what is the best CPU pair for GTX 750Ti?
(i5-4460 is way over the budget)

Intel i3-4170 or AMD FX-6300? (I'm still confused :()

This is where we'll buy the parts: https://www.facebook.com/DFE168/

Thanks so much. :)

Hi,

I would go with Intel i3 for the 3 reasons:
1- The FX build only allowed DDR3 RAM (They dont support DDR4 yet)
2- Seems i3 performance better the the FX according to http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i3-4170-vs-AMD-FX-6300.
3- Intel tends to have lower temps so stock coolers will be more than enough or the cooler comes with it.

One last thing, I think you missed adding the Case.

If you can fit an i3 and corresponding motherboard into the budget, that would be an upgrade. Next up, I'd ditch the optical drive, assuming most of the games would be from steam or origin or some other download platform- not sure of the quality of the broadband where you are. the 750Ti is OK, not great, but on a 18.5" monitor which is probably 1600x900, it's probably OK. also, I don't see a case in the list. and I would look hard at getting a 256GB SSD over a 1TB HDD because of how big a difference it makes to the user experience. If you can fit it into the budget by sacrificing the seasonic PSU for something less expensive, maybe an Antec Basiq or Corsair CX500 or something like that, I'd probably do it.
