Sound comes through both speakers and heaphones

Hey, guys. I have an issue. It's a similar issue that I've seen a lot of while trying to research my problem. When I plug my headphones into my speaker's headphone jack, the sound comes through both my headphones and the speakers themselves. I've gone into the sound manager and tried to set my headphones as the primary device, but the speakers and headphone output are lumped together and I can't separate them. Can anyone help me out?

Things to note: My operating system is Windows 10. My sound codec is the IDT High Definition Audio codec. My headphones are not fancy or gaming headphones. They're just a pair of JVC earbuds.

ive seen this happen on my system too it seems to be a glitch, what ive found to work is make sure you have both devices plugged in when you initially boot the computer and it should detect them both. it works for me :)
