So, today I decided to replace the thermal compound on my Graphics card (MSI GTX 960 2x armor 2gb) because the thermal paste seemed to be very dried out yet very wet in the center. So I took some Artic Silver 5 and made a big fat line from the top to the bottom of the graphics card chip. I fired my computer up and I play a bit of PayDay 2 and I usually get under 60 degrees Celsius. But i'm getting up around 50-70, mostly around 65. Is it because I put too much thermal compound? Is it the thermal compound itself?
