A speck of thermal paste got stuck on i7 6700k pin ( on the bottom side )

Solution

As Qenetor said, it depends if it is conductive or not. As well, maybe try out this and see if it helps: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835100010&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-VigLink2-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3821802&SID=irvh8by12t000a1700053

It's a thermal compound remover. Give it a try.

As far as I know intel CPUs dont have pins on them. They are on the motherboard. Nevertheless if you didn't bend any of them, and they are absolutely clean, you should be fine.

Yes there are no pins , I meant the bottom side , I cleaned it , but there is a slight shade on the cleansed spot and it is not getting off even after an hour , should i plug in ? Or should try to do something else.
