GTX 950 / 750Ti advice

I'm looking to buy a new GPU to upgrade from my intergrated one. I've been looking at the GTX 750Ti and the 950 but the latter one is a bit over my budget. Which one is a better 'bang for your bucks' choice. I'm leaning towards the 750. And what kind of results will I get for whilst playing games. Not looking to play on High settings, low will do just fine.

My specs are:
- i5-4570k @ 3.2GHz
- 8GB RAM -
- Some cheapo 500W PSU
- ASUS H87M-PLUS

I'm not even sure if either one would even work on my motherboard with the cheap PSU as I'm quite a noob and more of a console guy :]

Yep GTX 1050 is going to be a November/December launch, not August.

Which GTX 750 ti and which GTX 950 were you looking at OP? Because depending on the model, the GTX 750 ti and 950 prices do overlap if you combine all the aftermarket cards.

Any of them will work just fine in your system as both are really low power cards.
I'd suggest to wait few weeks for the release of RX 460/470 and GTX 1050. they will be in the same price range while offering much more performance.
At the minimum, they will drive the prices of 950 and 750 even cheaper.
