Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me with this!
I own the laptop from the tittle and I am having random disconnections while gaming or just browsing, it takes about 3 to 4 hours to occur after the computer was been boot and when it happens the wifi application (Windows 8.1 x64) just says that it`s connect and if I click disconnect it wont do a thing, keep saying connected and the only way to get back online is waiting about 4 to 6min or reboot the machine, which is frustrating.
I tried disabling and enabling the wifi card on the adapters settings, updating drivers, formated the machine thinking it was virus/malware, and nothing helped. Its also not the router as everyone uses the wifi in the house without problems and this also happens in my college wifi network which makes me think that it may be a hardware/antenna issue.
All the card information is below, I was willing to buy these top ones like Intel 7260 or Bigfoot Killer but my router have nothing special -medialink R300N and I don`t wanna waste money in having features that will not be used, I just want a good/stable card that will fit in my laptop. What do you guys recommend?
