Can 2x molex (3pin) to 8-pin pci-e work on my r9 280x Dual-x

I have a 2x molex (3pin) to 8-pin PCI-E, Can I use it to power the r9 280x ...
This 280x need 1- 6 pin ( I have it in my power supply ) and 8-pin, so I will get the 3pin 2x molex to connect the 8pin to the gpu
Is this works?

If I understand the question, you're asking if the molex to 8 pin adapter will work to power your gpu?

if so, yes, that is the case. That adapter will enable you to power your gpu with a molex cable

It may work, it also may cause a fire. If the psu lacks the proper connections thats usually a good sign it cant handle the load. Whats the make and model of the psu?

no problem. What PSU do you have? Bignastyid has a point. You want to be extra careful with adapters to your PSU; there was probably a reason they didn't include 8 pin pci cables

What model of Seasonic? I find it hard to believe a 900w Seasonic unit doest have an 8-pin pci-e connector. If its a modular unit you may have to locate the cables that shipped with it.

Exactly how am i suppose to look at it? I dont even know which psu you have so i cant even look at pics or specs.
