Hi all, strange issue maybe you can help. I have a feeling my motherboard has died.

System specs:
Asus Z170 pro gaming
i7 6700k
MSI 980ti 6g (x2 sli)
Corsair HX1000i

Built the machine today, ran lovely. Installed all updates / drivers ect and ran heaven benchmark to have a look at what I'd spent way too much money on...

Both GPU's showed up one running Temps in the mid 70's and the other at about 80, thought all this looks perfect, great frame rates ect...

Disaster strikes... Black screen, as in screen went off. At first I thought maybe the machine went to sleep, no, no it didn't.

Now only one GPU shows up in the bios and windows... Tried both of the cards on their own and they work fine, tried a different Pci bridge, no help.

Last thing I tried was just one card in the seccond slot, no post, screen doesn't turn on.

Any ideas?
At a loss other that RMA for the motherboard.

Thanks in advance!
