Wich setup is better for gaming 4k or 1080P ?

I have big question about gaming settings
I want to know witch setting is better i have 55" 4k tv and a 1080 monitor witch works with sli 980TI
I want to know for example if i want to play gta V on 4k i cannot play at ultra setting but i can play on 1080 with all max settings
My question is here
Witch one have better graphic 4k gaming for example with medium texture quality or 1080 with ultra settings !?

A big 4K screen is much nicer looking I think, especially for games like GTA, compared to a relatively small 1080p monitor. If you can play at 4K at around medium to high settings it's still gonna look much nicer than on 1080p ultra, i'm pretty sure.
If you already have thegame and the 4K TV and monitor then you can just try it out, see which you personally like better.

Only downside of a TV is they have a more input lag than monitors, so for fast games like first person shooters monitors are usually better.
