I have a GTX 750ti, an i5 4460, 8gb ram and a 450w PSU. I want to be able to run No Man's Sky decently and render videos faster. My budget is $200 but I could raise it slightly if I have to. (also, I am not very good at building PCs so I would like to keep the assembly to a minimum) So here are my Questions:

1. Can I run No Man's Sky with my current build?
2. What Card should I upgrade to?
3. Can I still use my current PSU? If not what PSU should I get?
4. Can the new card run the game well?
5. Is it even worth it to do the upgrade?
6. should I just upgrade something else like ram?

Solution
1. Yes
2. You can pick up an RX 480 for around $250 at the moment.
3. Unless it's a no name 450 watt psu you should be good. (What brand is it?)
4. Yes.
5. Yes.
6. If you want to render videos you should upgrade to an i7.

Hey, Thank you for the answer, Very short and to the point! I think the PSU is Soly Tech. (I bought this PC pre-built so I didn't choose the parts) so I'm guessing I should go for a new PSU too? and where should I buy the card? I can't seem to find a good seller on amazon. And are there any other cards you would recommend?

I think Soly Tech qualifies as no name. So yes, you should definitely go for a new PSU. The GTX 1060 is a good alternative but it's also out of stock right now. Most of the new cards are out of stock at the moment pretty much everywhere so I don't know what to do there. If you have the time to wait a bit for them to be back again it would be worth it, your current setup should be able to handle No Man's Sky pretty well. GTX 970 is a good card but I wouldn't recommend it (unless you desperately need to upgrade) since the RX 480 and GTX 1060 outperform it and are also cheaper.

Yeah, I'll probably get it and see if it runs or Youtube some gameplay with my card.
