I installed my new GTX 1070 and although my games look great, it takes a longer time than usual for these games to load. I'm thinking it has to do with the new card since I've noticed it more since installing it,but am not entirely sure. Any ideas?

Stevie,

What graphics card did you have installed and were using before putting the new GTX 1070 card in the Pci- graphics card slot of your motherboard.

As a bit of advice, if the card was a Nvidia based card of another model range, or a Ati based card.
Then before you removed the old graphics card from the system, you should have un installed the video card drivers that ran with that card.

Restarted the system.
Then shut it down completely.

And removed the old card, putting your new GTX 1070 card in the system.
Powered the system up, and then downloaded the latest force ware driver via the Nvidia driver download section and installed it.

Then as a final step restarted windows.

I had a 960 2gb. Thats actually exactly what I did. The games run very smoothly just certain ones take a bit longer to load.
