The 8350 rarely shows much performance improvement in games over the 6300 or 6350. The higher TDP on the 8350 also means that you need to be careful about which motherboard you drop it in. And be absolutely sure your motherboard is up to the job before OCing it.
OP is probably actually better getting a 6300 or 6350, with a slight OC if possible on the mobo. Most games that would give you more performance actually.
Also, 960? With the 1060 and 480 out and the 470 and 1050 (or 3GB 1060 - or whatever it's going to be called) out soon. The 960 was never great value. Are you getting it at a really good price? Otherwise I'd for sure be waiting for availability on the newer cards, they're massively faster than a 960 and, once prices settle, should be priced close to the 960 (particularly a 470).
