I downloaded Disk Info a few days ago and it says my disk is at caution, seeing as I got this hard drive last november, It shouldnt be in caution.

It says that The Current Pending Sector Count is 100 out of 100 and has 0 threshold, it is also yellow for caution, everything else is Blue which I assume mean Working Fine. Im using a Hitachi Hua721010KLA330 100.2 GB. Please help as I believe this is my computer has been much slower lately!

Thanks!

I would ask if you have Smart enabled in the bios for the hard drive.

You should enable it, then use something like crystal disk.
Where you will be able to pull up more information of the drive condition and statistics.

What you should be looking for are bad sectors or cylinder error reports of the hard drive.
If you have reports of many bad sectors or cylinders then the drive is failing.

When you fill a hard drive with data, or most of it`s total storage capacity the drive will also slow down.
And should be de fragmented on a regular basis.

I think you should use HD tune instead of crystal disk info, I used the last one before, than I used HD tune and this one detected more problems than crystal disk info.
