PC won't boot and the motherboard is giving long beeps non-stop

I just bought a new pc last week and got a new heatsink that I needed to unplug everything and take the mobo out to install. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough room so I put the old one back in and plugged everything back in and now it gives long beeps forever and won't display anything. I've checked the ram and reseated it a few times in all slots, made sure the heatsink was working and then unplugged and replugged everything once again. No change.

The only way I managed to stop the beeping was when I accidently put the ram in partially backwards on accident (wouldn't go in further) and it stopped beeping but wouldn't display.

What should I do? I'm pretty sad that I can't use my new pc and I'm super poor to boot.

I only have one, and I rubbed the connector with a rubber eraser and it didn't do anything. Time to buy new RAM?
