Basically, I bought this computer from someone who made a very silly mistake and used an SSD as the local disk. The SSD is only 120GB, and now all of my important files [OS, AppData, Program Files, etc.] are locked in the SSD. I purchased a 1TB internal HDD and installed it, but I want that hard drive to be my local disk and the SSD to be my secondary driver where I store games, not the other way around. Any method for swapping the functionality of the drives would be fantastic as this has caused me tons of stress..

1. They did not make a mistake. You DO want the SSD as your OS drive. OS and most/all applications.

2. Doc/Music/Video can be moved over to the 1TB HDD.

Personally,

It is not a mistake to set a SSD drive as a local drive or a boot drive.

The whole purpose of it is that a SSD drive when set as the boot drive with the working os on it is because it is much faster at loading windows, and any other programs put on it that you use from day to day.

Granted SSD drives don`t have as much space as a Mechanical based hard drive.
But that is down to the fact that per Gigabyte of storage space they are more expensive.

In comparison to the price of a Mechanical hard drive that you pay for per Gigabyte.

I would at least leave the OS, and any of the main programs you use from the SSD drive.
Including all word documents, music, pictures, or any other data over to the 1 TB drive in your system.

See how much free space you can gain by doing that on the SSD drive.

Maybe install with what is free with some games you play most frequently on the SSD drive.
Be it one or two game titles.

And the rest on the 1TB drive.

If you move everything over to run on the 1 TB drive it will take slightly longer to set it all up including having to re install, the OS.
