Hello,

I'm running on windows 7 and my USB flash drive has failed to Format..

Also, I have tried BOOTICE, but it failed to launch as flash drive has an I/O performance error... Anyway, my PC recognize usb, but unfortunately windows is unable to format or even open a USB flash drive folder, I need help with this "USB" Error.

I Remembered that I needed flash for "windows Microsoft tool USB" creation for iso into USB. then the tool has frozen and I pulled out the USB and plugined again for "some" reasons and for then USB flash is stocked at "null" point.

In this cache i had and have flash - Kingston 4Gb Data travel 2.0

Solution
Just be patient with it and give it 10 or 15mins. If nothing is working the drive is most likely dead. Unless you had really important data on it just go on ebay and you can buy a brand new 8gb one that is usb 3.0 for $4-6 http://www.ebay.com/itm/ADATA-DashDrive-UV128-8GB-USB-3-0-Flash-Drive-Model-AUV128-8G-RBE-/291286884546?hash=item43d20d20c2:g:FVAAAMXQlbVSHkTM http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kingston-8GB-DataTraveler-G4-USB-3-0-Flash-Drive-DTIG4-8GB-/381507525449?hash=item58d39edb49:g:1usAAOSwv9FXgPee So just make your coffee one day and you can buy one of these to replace it. I don't think it's worth putting any more time or effort into when usb drives are so cheap. But normally when disk management crashes or seems like it isn't...
