Video Card compatibility

Hi, I have a mobo ASUS Pro Gaming Aura. Intel i5 6400

I am planning to buy a Graphics card. Will the Asus GeForce 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 (Strix) work with my motherboard?

Sorry novice here, I am trying to uderstand how this pheriperals work with each other..

Any pci-e based graphics card (anything since 2004 or 2005) will work.

By the way, "Asus GeForce 2GB" doesn't tell us what the card is. It just tells us what vendor it comes from, that it's made by Nvidia, and that It has 2GV of VRAM but considering it's a 128-Bit card, I'm guessing it's a GTX 950 or 960. But yes, it will work.

Oh yeah it's a GTX 950... Thanks btw.. Also will my power supply be able cope with it? it's a 550w Thermaltake..
