What would be recommended sound card for this kind of headset to get its full advantages? Or its not worth buying seperate soundcard just for headset and gaming in general?

No need, it uses USB for input to it's own DAC.

A soundcard is good, but not necessary for a headset like the 800, which was absolutely blasted in reviews for cost vs performance!
