Hello. I unplug my computer from the UPS at night before I go to sleep to remove the glow from the case and keyboard as it keeps me awake. Minimum of four hours unplugged. Lately I've been noticing an issue where the computer will turn itself off after the fact only the first time I start it. So this morning I tested it. When I woke up, I plugged it in, hit the power button. I turned the monitor on to make sure I saw the ROG logo. I went to the bathroom. 2 minutes at the very most. I returned and the system was off entirely! When I press the power button again afterwards, the computer turns on and stays on. What could be causing this? When I start it the second time, there's no error message or "The system has crashed" message. It's as if it's shutting down normally for some reason within 2 minutes of a first boot after having been unplugged from the power. Thank you to anyone who can give me answers!

If im not wrong your ups is connected to the computer by a data cable of some sort right?
i am guessing that maybe the ups is dead and sends the shut down command to the computer due to internal error .

alternatively you may have damage the computer for some reason.

1)Try using it without the ups
2)Try reseating all components
3)test the ups with something else
4)Test all components,especially psu

The UPS I'm using is: CyberPower AVR Series AVRG750U 750VA 450W 12 Outlets UPS. The internal power supply is connected by a 3 prong grounded power cable with a small extension.

The internal power supply is a CORSAIR CX-M series CX750M 750W 80 PLUS BRONZE Haswell Ready ATX12V & EPS12V Modular Power Supply.

I haven't tried it without the UPS because there's one outlet in my room and not anywhere near the case. I could try something like that. Everything else connected to the UPS is fine and doesn't have this issue.

If that doesn't work, I'll go ahead with the steps you suggested. Thank you very much.
