MSI-970a G46 and FX-8350 // DID MY CPU DIE?

I recently encountered an issue with my MSI 970a-G46 and my AMD FX-8350 while I was video editing, my CPU went to 100% load and a few minutes after that, my screen went dark; my monitor turned off, but when I looked over at my rig, the power led was blinking as if it were on stand-by mode. I pressed the power button and nothing happened, so after that, I decided to hold the power button to turn it off. I unplugged the power chord from my power supply and opened my case.

Upon doing that, I gave it about 15 minutes because I thought my computer just needed to cool down and after waiting, I turned it back on, but there was no post. I noticed that on my motherboard, all 4 of the phase LED lights weren't on, only Phase 1 was on, and Phase 2&3 were blinking (fast). There was no Phase 4.

After doing more research, people told me it could have been the motherboard, so I decided to RMA my motherboard (since my rig is only a year old, I was still covered by my warranty). Yesterday, I received my motherboard and plugged everything in, but I got the same outcome. There was no post, only this time, the CPU Phase LED was only showing Phase 1 (not blinking or anything) and none of the other 3 LEDs at all.

I don't know why my PC isn't working, it's only a year old so I have no idea why it's acting like this, is my CPU dead? Or is there another reason for this? Any solutions?

Thank you,
Erick

EDIT: Although it says it supports my CPU, does this motherboard REALLY support my CPU? (It says it doesn't support CPUs with a tdp of 200W)

I used my friend's (working) power supply and the issue still occurred ):

So replace my CPU? Can I RMA it? (it's still under warranty)

Unfortunately, no, but do you have any idea why this happened? So I can prevent it from happening again?

could be a power surge
or your motherboard having voltage issues

is there a virus on your system?
did any of your system's drivers get screwed up?
what is the rest of your rig?

looks like the hard drive could be dieing as most 320gb drives are old thats a guess

Even if it was the HDD, it's not where my OS is located, and I unplugged the HDD and SSD to test it and still the same problem.

Lol I bought that GPU because my budget was low and surprisingly get good results from it (I'm upgrading to a GTX 950 when I get the chance)

Should I RMA the CPU first?

So the solution here is that IF you have an AMD FX-83xx CPU and a MSI 970A- G46 Motherboard and you are getting NO POST with only 1 CPU PHASE LIGHT ON, it's because that MSI Motherboard does NOT really support THAT CPU.

PROOF: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/330572-30-970a-warning

This motherboard does not have the vrm phases to handle an FX-83xx or above

My Solution was to RMA both the CPU and the MOTHERBOARD and upon receiving both items back, sell that motherboard and buy an ASUS 970 Motherboard (which definitely DOES support an FX-83xx CPU)

ASUS MOTHERBOARD: https://www.amazon.com/970-PRO-GAMING-AURA-Motherboards/dp/B01A33PHLA

Thank you everyone!
