I recently built a new comp with a huge upgrade in storage space. I've got a He8 8TB hard drive for main and a RAID 10 array 4TB (4x4TB) as well. I know, it's a lot, but I need them for 3D imaging of surgical procedures, so they're necessary. Anyway, my bootup was rather slow so I bought a Samsung 850 PRO 512gb M2 since there is a spot on the mobo for it. When I install it, however, 2 of the SATA ports are disabled (ports 5 and 6). Fine, I just plugged my He8 into one of the others. Nope! Apparently none of the other SATA plugs will run it, only the ones that are tied to the M2 port. I've read everything I can find in the manual and online and can't seem to fix it. Any help?
