So I built this computer about 2 weeks ago and since then it has random freezes and blue screens... Blue screen today had error "REFERENCE_BY_POINTER" and it seems to some time freeze coming out of sleep or hibernation.

Don't know whats going on... ive checked to make sure all my drivers are up to date and my version of windows is up to date. Could REALLY use some help as its starting to bother me quite alot.

OS: Windows 10
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VIII Hero Alpha
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2
Case: NZXT Noctis 450
RAM: HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4 2133MHz
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61
CPU: Core i7-6700K
Solid State: ADATA XPG SX930 240GB

I also have a 6 year old 500gb HDD as a secondary HD and as for GPU I'm using an old radeon hd 6450 my friend gave me untill I can afford a GTX 1080 or something of the new pascal line.

Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like either a memory error or your SSD drive, or could just be that something got corrupted during install (or download of windows 10)

Kingston is not my first choice in memory, and that Adata drive was a "good deal" because performance or reliability is less then the more established drives like Samsung or Crucial.

Download memtest and run it, and you could also try running a Linux live boot CD or other OS just to see if you get issues with it.

running memtest right now its at like 90% with 0 errors currently. Say memtest finds nothing wrong how would I go about finding out software wise whats causing the issue? ive read a bit about event viewer but that kind of seems like a needle in a haystack.
