I just bought an MSI 1060 about 10 minutes ago. I know that MSI's warranty is for three years. I get that, but that's all their website really says about the warranty itself. Then they list the warranty exclusions. The website says the warranty exclusions are:

  • 1. Product damage caused by catastrophes, thunder stroke, faulty electric power and environmental factors.

    2. Defacing of product labeling (label alterations and falsifying, serial number missing, serial number no longer discernible, serial number invalid). All serial numbers are recorded and tracked for warranty purposes.

    3. Unauthorized changes of non MSI parts, modifications or alterations , parts removal in or to the products.

    4. Damage caused by operator error or operator fails to comply user manual instruction, such as, but not limited to improper storage resulting in product get wet, corrosion, fell off, squeezed or exposed to inadequate temperature/humid environment.

    5. Internal or external consumable items of the product itself such as battery, earphone, etc
Accessories or packing material such as boxes, user manual ,etc

Ok, well... what does the warranty actually cover if none of the above is covered?

Solution
should be kinda spelled out in there terms but bottom line in the end it there digression weather or not to honor any part of it

they could accept and honor the rma or send it back with a blunt ''end user abuse'' clause and not honor a thing ?

the ball is fully in there court and they have last say

just contact them explain the deal , if they give you a rma authorization you send it in , they get it look it over and decide if they will or not
