Sometimes when I finish a game of league of legends my pc screen turns black, but the computer is still running. This has happened in many games of mine, but it is never when im actually playing, only when im ending a game and it is transferring to the title screen or when I am trying to ctrl+esc a game. I restart my pc when this happens, and it goes back to its normal state. Nothing in my pc is overheating. And i have done a ram mem test so I dont think it is that. Could it be my hard drive? Should I do a clean install of windows? Please help me fix this annoyance!

It may be corrupted files.

If Windows 10 you can try doing an in-place upgrade:

1. Create W10 install disc if you do not have one
a) MS media creation tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10
b) download and burn a DVD or USB stick (make sure version matches such as W10 Home 64-bit)
c) insert media with W10 running, then navigate and run "setup.exe" on the media
d) *do not enter a key if prompted
e) **choose to keep all DATA and PROGRAMS when prompted
f) finish install, and Microsoft Updates (start-> settings-> upgrade and security, to see if new updates still)

If that's NOT the issue you could try THIS (or maybe do this first since it's easier)->

2) Reinstall latest video driver

Does your Windows report the model and maker of your screen correctly or does it say "Generic plug-and-play screen"?

I had a problem like this with SWTOR once that when I closed the game, the screen would go black but (I had VLC viewer playing at the same time) I could still hear music in the back.

Try installing the driver for your screen and try it again.
