My computer will not recognize a Ethernet connection at all. Perhaps it was the driver. I tried to update it and it says Realtek network controller was not found. Indeed it was not there in my device manager. I tried to install a the Realtek network controller driver and it says again it was not found. If deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable.
I went to device manager in hopes so I can disable the sleep mode but now I cannot find the network adapter tab whatsoever. Under mice and keyboards it should say network adapters but the whole thing is taken out.
So I tried to install a network adapter (default Windows version 64bit( my pic is 64 bit)) using the winprox64 program and it says cannot install drivers. No Intel adapters are present in the pc. I KNOW THAT.
Aren't you supposed to install drivers that weren't originally there? I looked and it said that I required Intel network connections snmp agent and so I went to install that. Now it says I can't install because ipmi compliant baseboard management controller cannot be detected on the system. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?
Nothing absolutely nothing is working. I checked my bios and reset the settings to default but nothing works. I checked anti virus but nothing regarding the issue. I've spent more than 2 days on the issue and simply cannot figure it out.
The problem is my pc does not have network adapter device installed. Trying to install it won't work. I'm all out of options and don't know what to do. I truly do not wish to reset my whole pc to factory and I unfortunately do not have a backup to restore to. It's super stressful and I cannot do anything without wifi on this pc. Please help I will provide any extra info if possible.
