Wifi Extender Cuts out

I recently changed internet providers and now my NETGEAR N300 WiFi Range Extender cuts out a couple times a day and I have to turn it off and turn it back on to get it to reconnect. My pc is connected to the extender through an ethernet cable and when extender cuts out it only disconnects the pc, the wireless connection still works. Anyone know how to solve this?

Did you change primary routers when you switched ISPs?

The wireless devices are probably keeping a connection to the range extender just fine, it is just not showing that the range extender is not connected to the main router. When this happens can you still go to websites on the wireless devices?

Yes I did change routers when I switched, and the extender only drops the connection between the wired device (my pc) and I don't believe that either the extender nor my pc is broken because it never did this with my old connection. I
