Regarding power distribution

I have 8 batteries to power 8 motors. when one battery fails i need to design the fail safe system in such a way that all other batteries should together power the 8 motors. I dont how to divide current and voltage at the same time to power them.

Connect the 8 batteries in parallel using wire size sufficient for all 8 motors, and protect each motor and its wires individually with an overload-equipped motor starter.

Thank you for the reply. It is a project. I am making a drone with 8 motors powered by 8 batteries. And for the fail safe system I just want to design in such a way that if one mbattery fails the rest other batteries should power all 8 motors. For example, one battery fails. How can I connect all other 7 batteries to power 8 motors? Need to know how the current and voltage is divided. Initially each motor is powered by individual battery without disturbing other batteries.
