Where can I get the slots themselves, which hold the ram? My motherboard only has two slots attached, but it has places to add two more ram slots next to the existing slots. When I search for Ram slots, I only get Ram. I have that. I need to install two more slots (receptacles). Where can I get them, and do I need to call them by a different term?

That is what I thought you were referring to. Sorry, but you can't install those yourself. Even if you could, as previously mentioned, your BIOS would likely not recognize them either. You need to swap your motherboard to have more memory slots.

+1 - even if you could install new sockets, the BIOS wouldn't know what to do with them ;)
