Is the AMD Radeon R5 M330 for a laptop good enough for video editing software like Blender or for playing games like Rome Total War 2? The laptop is the Lenovo E565 with 4GB RAM, AMD 2.5Ghz,, 2 GB GPU RAM.

Mixing up currency can mix up prices since they may not be the same in different countries. It maybe a good deal but the question would be how long would it last before needing to upgrade since it's low end. I would end up spending more money in the long run for upgrading more often but if it does what you need then you don't need to spend more. Different people have different needs and budgets. Higher end stuff is always lower value but if you want more performance, you have no choice unless you buy used.

My dilemma is that I ordered an Asus E402SA with 4GB RAM, 32 GB SSD Intel Dual-Core Celeron N3050 Processor, Win 10 for which I'd intended to insert a 240GB SSD in it to speed it up and give myself more memory - all for approx 256 GBP. I then came across the Lenovo Thinkpad E565 with an AMD A8 8600P and dedicated GPU R5 M330, 4Gb RAM & 500 GB HDD GBP, Win 10, DVD-R/W & I also intend to purchase a compatible SSD for it- all for approx total cost 280 GBP. (The same E565 has a modern variant with an AMD A10 and R6 340DX that retails at approx 360 GBP other specs being the same) Do you recc I stick with the Asus or go in for the Thinkpad? The ASUS had a long battery life (12 hrs) and is very light (14 in) while the Thinkpad is heavier and has a battery life of 6 hrs (15.6 in). I am looking at the Thinkpad as a way to future proof myself bec they have good resale value and Thinkpads are flexible in terms of upgrading their storage. Would you agree?
