I found a thread on this, an could not get back to it to post.
I followed the information posted on this site, but still no wifi. Hoping you can help.
My PC Acer Aspire V - previous to Win 10 I had dual boot with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Win 8.1 and all worked well. After upgrade to win 10 wifi no longer shows up or works.
I did
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo modprobe wl
and received this error
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'wl': Required key not available
I'm not new to Ubuntu but do not have a firm grasp on the sudo commands. I can follow sudo instructions by copy and past to terminal mode.
