How many PCIe cables?

For future reference: If a GPU (in this case, the EVGA GTX 1070 FTW, total power draw 215 watts according to EVGA's web site) requires two eight-pin power connectors, then is it safe to use a single PCIe cable which has dual 6x2-pin connectors? Or would it require two separate cables? (The PSU in question is a Corsair RM650x.)

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Solution
right the cable is more than capable of supplying both 6+2 connectors with their rated power. no worries there. feel free to use a single cable to run the ftw card which pulls around 225w at full load. the psu is plenty strong enough for the card.
