So because of some odd driver issues (swapping from AMD to Nvidia is fun, kids!) and because I should've done it ages ago, I'm moving my OS onto my SSD from my hybrid drive. I wanted to check here to make sure the steps I have planned are correct.
I have 3 drives; an SSD, Hybrid, and HDD.
Currently, the OS and a decent amount of my stuff is on the Hybrid, and I have ample space on the HDD.

The steps I'm going to take are as follows:
1: Uninstall easy to retrieve programs (games, etc) and move Steam install to HDD.
2: Move personal files (photos, music, etc) to HDD
3: Wipe SSD and Hybrid drives
4: Install Windows 10 from disk onto SSD
5: Set SSD as boot drive in BIOS
6: Reinstall drivers automatically with Windows 10
7: Celebrate clean computer and hella fast boot times

Is this the correct procedure? Or are there better/safer options that I should be using?

ALSO something I just remembered, I actually only have a Windows 8 disk. If I install that, will it update back to Windows 10?

Solution
Don't count on the automatic drivers, make sure to download the proper ones from your manufacturer sites.

As for the install disk, just make one (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10)
