my cpu fan is connected on system fan port and my cpu fan port is empty.... no issues till now, no warnings...my overall computer running cool with single fan .but is it wrong or cause bad to cpu.everyone say the draw different speeds.i am noobie
by the way my cpu fan with heat sync have 4 wires which is connected in a system fan port

In this case, the fan does not adjust its speed based on the CPU temperature, but based on the board's one, so, under load, the CPU temperature would increase. Theoretically, the board's BIOS should not allow you to start the board if no CPU fan installed, but I guess that it depends on the manufacturer (what board using)?

i have two ddr3 1600mhz slots
one already have 4 gb inserted i want to buy an extra 8 gb to make it 12 gb
i know 4+4 or 8+8 kit...most stable...high performing dual channel blah blah.
but if i buy a 8 gb now i can buy another one later(no money right now) for making it 16 other than wasting the 4gb kits i pay for now.
real question is will the 8+4 gb ram preposition in two slots each will it hurt my mother board or any components by any means?

usually i play gta v .there is no graphics card so its shared from ram upto 2 gb and gta v needs 8 gb ram .in total i need 10 but i will try both 8 gb only and 8+4 perfomance and compatability when i buy one. i am short in cash to buy 8gb now.
i got this gifted by my brother he bought it from some weirdo built this assembly he put core i3 4130 instead of Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1265L v3
and 4 gb ram and hot glued it on slot and a short lengthed cpu cooler and connected to a syst fan and the fool cutted the hdd splitter to single one and connected a 5200 hdd
its now feels like he made this out of scraps.Cheating assemblers and sellers. now i have to again make money for buying stuff to make it stay good
