Hello all,

I'm having a weird situation and I'm really worried about it so your help will be very very appreciated.

I bought Gionee s6 smartphone a few days ago, brand new. Worked perfect and fulfilled all my smartphone needs.

I was completely satisfied and had peace of mind. But then, i was drinking coca cola and accidently spilled some coca cola on my hand... Cleaned with tissue but maybe some vapors were left on fingers even after i cleaned with tissue paper... So after it i used my smartphone and i guess the sweet sugary liquid touched the screen through my fingers.

Later on i left the mobile phone at night on a table, and next day when i woke up - I saw some ants running on the mobile phone! It was definitely due to the smell/affect of that coca cola which attracted the ants toward it.

Now what is eating my mind is that is there any possibility that the ants damaged inside of smart phone by entering through the headphone jacket area or so?

The smartphone is working fine and the ants were only on the screen but I'm worried what if they had entered inside smartphone through headphone jacket and destroyed anything which may reduce life time of smart phone.

Sorry for poor english skills, your help will be very much appreciated as I'm very worried about it, the smartphone was new and i don't want to change it yet.

Just clean your screen and you are good to go. Headphone jack doesn't have opening for ants to for in. Its closed, ants can't go inside.

Its not possible for them to go inside but assume even if they went inside, they are not interested in silicon and metal components lol.
