Sorry for the thread name being like that,
Info:
My os is windows 8.1 and system x64 and ram 4GB. I will now start telling the problem.

I don't know what the problem is but, when I watch videos or play games in the middle my internet disconnects, and to reconnect it, I have to restart the computer or by "scan hardware changes" on the driver in device manager. I firstly thought that the problem is my internet but it is not. I tried using the same internet connection on my laptop and there was not a single disconnection, not even for once. The laptop was windows 7.

Tbh, on my computer the internet also disconnects when I play installed non-internet games using full screen. I just can't find what the problem is. So, please someone help me get out from this problem T^T

It may be a driver error. In Device Manager, right click the Properties of the network adapter and click on the Details tab. Scroll to HardwareIDs and note the four characters after VEN for Vendor then the four after DEV for Device.

When you can get online, go to http://www.pcidatabase.com and input those details in the relevant boxes. You should be able to follow the trail to the correct driver.

The DEVice listing isn't in numerical order so you may need to use your browser's Edit>Find menu to track it down rather than going through the whole list.

OK so it's not that then but if it restarted after a "Scan hardware changes", it was worth a shot.

Is the difference between the laptop and the PC is wireless on the laptop and wired on the PC? If so, is the connection to the PC solid or does the ethernet plug move around in the socket? Can you check the cable at the router end as well, please?

I use the same cable for both laptop and computer.

I also find out that my internet got this problem after getting the windows 10 upgrade notification, until then there was so such problems, and when due to some problem, my dad had to call someone and install a new version of windows, the problem was still there. So?

Now I'm worried about that shared cable. If the connection in the PC is damaged from frequent plugging and unplugging, it could cause the sporadic nature of the problem.

One answer would be a wireless USB dongle to make the PC free of the cable. Presumably the laptop has wi-fi already so you could do away with the cable completely.

When you look at the plug on that cable, you can see the eight small connectors and inside the port on your PC, there are a as many tiny wires, some of which have to engage with that plug. That's a very fragile setup because one wire just slightly out of place will give you a broken connection.

Shine a light on that port and see if they're all straight. You could buy an add-on networking card if you have a spare PCI slot but the wi-fi dongle is the quickest and cheapest way out.
