S34E790C with AMD A4 and MSI Radeon R7 250

Hi, I'd like to upgrade to the Samsung S34E790C but I'm on a AMD A4 3300 with Radeon HD6410D which can't display the 3440*1440. No Gaming required, only office work. Will this work if I only get the monitor and a relatively basic graphic card: MSI Radeon R7 250? At least it seems capable of displaying 1440*3440 at 60hz.

Thank you for the quick response! There is no Displayport but if I understand correctly I can get any graphic card with a Displayport 1.2 and it should be fine. Sounds good.

well I should have checked earlier but it seems that my graphics card isn't compatible with my current setup. I went for a radeon 7570 with displayport but can't get it to work. I'm trying it first with the dvi output and my current monitor but as soon as I install it the screen stays blank. Fan is running but neither the onboard output nor the output of the new gpu are giving me anything. Can't even get into bios. When I take it out the onboard output just works fine. Tried to boot in safe mode and disable the amd driver for the onboard but that didn't help. Power could be an issue because I'm only using a 300w psu but it only seems to be drawing 60w according to some information that I've found online. However the recommended psu is 400w I think. I've also found this on cpu-world:

A: Radeon HD 6450 and HD 7450 graphics cards are officially recommended. Radeon HD 6350 and HD 7350 Graphics Processing Units are supported as well. The following discrete cards are not supported: Radeon HD 6570, HD 6670, HD 7570 and HD 7670.
Does this mean the gpu is not compatible at all or just not working for dual graphics (which I'm not trying to do).
Bios setting is set to PEG.
Any further ideas?
