My gpu is the Gigabyte GV-R938XG1 GAMING-4GD Graphics Card. It requires one 8 pin but my psu(450 watt) only has a 6 pin. is there any other way to fix the problem without changing my psu??

Psu: Antec 450-Watt Energy Star Certified Power Supply VP-450

(i am a noob, just saying)

Solution
You have a split rail (12 volt) PSU that only carries 360 watts on the 12 volt rail. Generally you want a good 500 watt PSU for a 380X rig. Using those adapters isn't a good idea a 6pin carries 75 watts - the 8 pin (or 6+2) carry 150 watts - big difference. Should really get a better PSU
