Hello all. I have a problem with a USB 3.0 cable extension box i have made myself.

The setup is 5x USB 3.0 female A-A panel mounts http://
and 5x USB 3.0 male A-A 1.8 meter cable http://

the USB mounts are mounted in a aluminum box with the cable connected to the back of my PC.
four of the cables are connected to USB 3.0 slots and one to a USB 2.0 slot.

Now the interesting part.

All five slots works with USB 2.0 devices but USB 3.0 devices does not work in the slots connected to USB 3.0 slots on the PC. only the one slot connected to the USB 2.0 slot on the PC works with a USB 3.0 device.

When USB 3.0 devices are connected though the cable to the PC it does not register anything only USB 2.0 devices connected though the cables are been register by the PC.
However the USB 3.0 devices works if connected directly to the USB 3.0 slots on the back of the PC. so nothing wrong with the PC as I can tell.

The million dollar question.

Does anyone know why my USB 3.0 devices does not work when connected though the extension cable to a USB 3.0 slot on my PC but a USB 2.0 devices does work and why do the USB 3.0 devices work when connected though the extension cable to a USB 2.0 on the PC?

Note: The cable connected to USB 2.0 on the PC which the USB 3.0 devices works in has been swap to a USB 3.0 slot on the PC which made the USB 3.0 device stop working swapping it back to a 2.0 slot made it work again.

When i say USB 3.0 devices not work i mean not been detected by the PC at all.

I was hoping someone had an idea why I am experiencing this kind of problem with what I thought was a simple USB 3.0 extension. :??::??:
