After recently upgrading to the GTX 1080 Founders Edition from the Gigabyte 970 I am having worse performance with the 1080. I experience the lag when moving my mouse Left to right, whether i'm in the menu's or actual gameplay. I have all drivers downloaded and updated.

My Specs:
Motherboard: MSI z170A M5
CPU: I-7 6700k
GPU: GTX 1080 Founders Edition
PSU: Corsair CX850M

If you watched that video, it is not a good representation of the video card. I know the capabilities of the card are insanely good, but I have not seen those results yet.

I am trying to find out what I can do to fix the lag issue.

I've just had the same problem on my Asus Strix 1080. Uninstalled and reinstalled Nvidia drivers, performed a system restore and still nothing. I was left with nothing but to RMA the card, until i had a hunch to uninstall Gigabyte's App center which did the trick and now my card works great. My mobo is gigabyte z170x gaming 7, while yours is a MSI i know it might not be the same problem but i thought I'd share my experience with you.
