Hi I'm having trouble diagnosing this problem. I have a Asrock h110m-HDS and my monitor is a samsung S22F350 and an i5-6500 processor that has integrated graphics. I currently have no dedicated graphics card on my mobo. My problem is when I start my pc it doesn't show video on my monitor with the HDMI connection. The mobo has a dvi connector so i have to get an adapter or a dvi-to-vga cable. Can anyone help diagnose this problem? Thanks in advance!

Also, just built this pc within the last 3 days and all parts are brand new

edit: Tried with an adapter and still no video. Gonna try a different monitor tomorrow. So maybe it's the mobo? Everything else on the mobo works though. Tried the steps on the sticky about video problems and no POST. I maybe saw a bent pin on socket for cpu not too sure tho, they're really small. Someone please help me I'm completely at a loss

also I tried fixing the pin and another got bent and I tried fixing that one too and I don't know if it's gonna work but I'm about to try. Thus far, the pc building process has made me wanna go back to console unfortunately.

I tried to straighten the bent pins and they seem to be in line with the rest of them but still no video. Did try to reset the cmos and that didn't work either. Also don't have a video card. I think I'll just have to get a new mobo and wait another 2 weeks :/

Board might not even support your cpu till the bios is flashed as well sometimes when ya buy boards or devices they aren't updated to the current bios or firmware.
Example just got a brand new samsung galaxy tab s2 8 had to update it 2 Oscar versions soon as I got it . And the didn't even release till end of last year

I tried the ram already, I don't really have friends that build their own computers ya know? I'm gonna see if I can find an old computer lying around somewhere and swap and see if that works. Will try to update whenever I do that
