I upgraded my G850 with an i5-3570.
MOBO is an ASUS H61M - so should be compatible.
Computer failed to boot up - I realized I may have needed a BIOS update (yeah, I forgot) - so I reinstalled my old chip - but still nothing.
Any suggestions?
Well that failed miserably - straightened all the pins abd now computer wont even power up - I'm guessing there were still a few bent pins and I fried the MOBO.
Time to start a new thread on suggestions for a new build.
