Ssd for laptops

Solution
Which ssd interface are you interested in - standard 2.5 inch SATA 3 6Gb/s or the newer M.2 interface? If the answer is M.2 are you interested in M.2 3.0 x 4, M.2 2.0 x4, or M.2 SATA 3 6Gb/s?

I normally recommend Samsung solid state drives. They perform very well and have a proven track record.

I maintain an ssd database listed in a sticky at the very top of this forum section. Here is the link:

Scroll down to the brands and models you might be interested in and follow the links to the technical reviews. The links to the reviews are divided into two sections - English language reviews and reviews in other languages.
