Hey guys i just recently built a pc. Specs are 16gb g skill ripjaws 2133mhz 4×4.
H170 Pro mobo
Msi gtx gaming x 1070
Intel i5 6500.
Windows 10 digital version
Now when i boot my pc, it takes ages for it to fully load. First none of the shortcuts appear and only 2 tabs. The 2tabs say Msi gaming App (×86). What do i do?

Bit of a hard one this as the cause could be anything.

What I would do first though is go into the bios setup of the motherboard first of all.

I would check and confirm that the memory of the system is being detected right, and it displays the correct value for the total amount of memory fitted to it.

I would also check Based on if you know how fast the clock speed of the I5 6500 cpu is.
That it is running at the correct clock speed, but also what the tempreture of the cpu is at while you have the system on and sat in the bios.

If the cpu temp seems to be very high in Celsius then it is an indication that you have not fitted the cpu cooler properly to the cpu for adequate cooling of it.

If the cpu is running hot when it loads...

If the cpu is running hot when it loads windows and due to excess heat, the cpu will automatically down clock to about 800 Mhz in speed. and that would explain why the system is so slow when loading windows 10.

Also check that fast boot is enabled in the bios options, and also that Xmp mode for memory of the motherboard is enabled.

And that for your Sata ports the correct mode is selected Ahci mode.

As said though it is often the case that the system is slow because the cpu of the system is not being cooled, and is running very hot in Celsius even when at idle and you are just in the bios checking the temps.

If it is the case, then you need to take a good look at the cpu cooler on the cpu.
In most cases if you used the stock cpu cooler that came with the Intel cpu it is because you have not applied enough pressure to each of the four push pins of the cooler, and it has not latched correctly to underside of the motherboard.
