I recently got some cash on hand I was thinking about getting myself one of those new fancy GTX 1060's. The problem im having is my current CPU is an AMD A10 5800k Quad core APU running at 3.8Ghz. Its a quite old chip (Almost 2 years since iv got it, in fact they don't even sell them anymore.) I just want to know if it will doi anything to the performance. If its little im still going to go ahead and get it. I only have a 1080p 60hz monitor, so its not like i'm expecting some epic 60fps 4k gaming.
This is also so I can upgrade later on, i'm not planning on keeping this cpu for much longer, I just cant stand using this crappy APU for my graphics. Im planning on building a new PC soon, and i'll just reuse this for that build.
