Hey guys, noob here xD

I am planning to upgrade one by one all of my components, here is the list :
Motherboard : GA-970A-D3
PSU : 550W
Processor : AMD FX-4100
GPU : ATI RADEON HD 5600/5700
RAM : 4GB

The question is:
1. What should i upgrade first?
2. If i buy GTX750ti or above will it work on my motherboard? if it does work, will it bottleneck my cpu?
3. Or should i buy AMD GPU?
3. What is the best processor for my motherboard?
4. If i am going to add more ram first, should i replace the older one or just add in the another slot?

Thanks!

Might as well just scrap the whole thing, any upgrades are going to be a waste of money since everything is very low end.

Try this:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor ($110.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($65.38 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill NT Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($34.98 @ Newegg)
Storage: Hitachi Deskstar 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($43.95 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 950 2GB FTW ACX 2.0 Video Card ($109.99 @ Newegg)

If you reuse the current HDD and case you can get it down to $450, and if the PSU is any good you can get it down to just over $400 for a brand new computer

keep your computer for now. save $1000. come back later when you have the money and make a new post, $1000 budget build. please help! <3

edit: okay sorry, i was being sarcastic. but your components are 3-4 years outdated. u could upgrade your graphics card, which would suffice for now. however, your cpu+motherboard are a dying platform. we're waiting for amd's new platform which isn't backward compatible by the way, and is trying to compete head to head with Intel. Thus, that's why we're being honest, upgrading your cpu won't do you good at all. it's a poor investment with diminishing returns.
