I want to have the computer shutdown and restart at 2:30 am every day. Can i set that up with Shutdown -r or do I need to point to a different link?
Thanks for your help.

They call it Task Scheduler in Windows 10 and it is in the Control Panel but as part of Administrative Tools.

If you right click the wonky square windows button, Control Panel should be on the right

The "at" command should work in 10 but it's probably going to ask for an elevated Command Prompt so go into c:\windows\system32 and scroll down to cmd.exe. Right click it and select RunAs Adminisrtator - it give you more facilities.
You might be able to do it in the Task Scheduler and if I remember rightly, in XP it's in Control Panel>Scheduled Tasks.

I don't think XP supported the "at" command but try it anyway by bringing up a Command form and at the Prompt, typing
at /?
to see if any options appear.

Saga I missed the drop down menu to change it from XP to Win 10. I appologize for the mistake. And you're right. I had that function set up in XP but can't find anything similar in Win 10.
Thanks,
Jim
